Music-making opportunities within an ensemble that incorporates a wider range of instruments than normally experienced in weekly music schools
A focus on music arranged specifically for full orchestra
An extended social opportunity linked to a residential experience
A further opportunity to appreciate the many rewards that music making can offer.
This year's Orchestra Weekend will be the third annual event of its kind. It is aimed at more experienced young musicians (Grade 3 or equivalent and above). The musical activities are held in King Richard School, Dhekelia and the students stay overnight in a local hotel.
