Since 2001, Cyprus Music Service has held an annual residential weekend. These weekends are held in the Troodos Mountain Station and have become an extremely popular fixture in the CMS calendar. As the station is almost 2000m above sea level, it provides a welcome relief from the heat of the Cyprus summer.
The activities are many and varied, mostly focusing on developing the general musicianship of the budding players, but also include social activities such as quizzes and talent shows.
At present we cater for all young musicians who are in Y3 - Y8 and who have not taken their Grade 2 examination (or equivalent standard) at the time of the event.
